HTML5 Mobile Sites
Recently with the explosion of the mobile platform many clients have been asking for mobile versions of their site that have specific mobile content. I've been developing a set of HTML5 layouts that can be easily re-skinned using a LESS file where colour codes can be used to completely change the look and feel.
Supadu CMS Version 2
For the last 6 months I've been concentrating on the new improved version of our CMS Supadu. We've made the move over to HTML5 and have tried to incorporate new API's where we think they would be useful. For example, we've built a new drag and drop file upload system. This allows users to drag files from their desktop and folders, drop them on the webpage and see them uploaded to a server.
I've also pushed ahead with re-structuring the CSS, and LESS has been at the forefront of this. Using LESS has allowed me to rapidly prototype the new page layouts and also introduce all the new CSS3 goodies such as gradients and drop shadows to further enhance the user experience. As we've made this move to the newest of web technologies we've applied graceful degradation to make sure that user's in older browser's have a good experience.
